Alvy & Tablante, LLP was founded in 1996, when Norman D. Alvy and Albert S. Tablante, Jr., two experienced construction and commercial law attorneys decided to join forces. Prior to such merger, Messrs. Alvy and Tablante, spent many years practicing with several recognized construction and commercial law firms in New York City. In 2007, Jay Kushner formerly of Altieri, Kushner, Miuccio & Frind, P.C., which specialized in Labor Law and Construction Law, ERISA, Corporate Transactions, and Wills and Estates, became of counsel to the firm.

James P. Corcoran, has been of counsel to the firm since its inception and his areas of expertise include Labor Management, Employment Law, ERISA, General Corporate, Real Estate and Not-for-Profit Corporations.
